Job summary

Wellstar is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT imaging to join our radiology team. The role requires accurate image acquisition, patient positioning, and adherence to radiation safety standards in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The candidate will perform a variety of CT procedures, assist with contrast administration, ensure patient comfort, and collaborate with radiologists and technologists to deliver high-quality diagnostic studies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to explain procedures and obtain patient cooperation.
• Excellent communication with physicians, patients and staff.
• Competent in CT imaging and radiation safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Verifies clinician orders and patient identity prior to procedures.
• Obtains complete clinical history and preps patient for imaging.
• Reviews CT/radiographic images for quality and accuracy.
• Responds to emergencies and supports life‑safety equipment.
• Operates CT equipment and transmits studies to PACS.
