Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a PRN CT Technologist to join the CT Department at Baptist ED St. Augustine in St. Augustine, Florida. You will perform high-quality CT procedures, position patients, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure optimal imaging results.

Requirements include 1–2 years in radiology, ARRT (R) registration, and BLS. If hired, CT certification from ARRT must be completed within 12 months, and a sign-on bonus may be offered.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years radiology experience preferred.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT R) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• If hired, must pass CT certification from ARRT within 12 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT procedures according to established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Collaborate with radiologists for optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Educate patients about the CT process and answer questions.
