Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL seeks a CT Technologist to join the Downtown CT Department for PRN, varied shifts. You will perform CT procedures, prepare patients, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure high quality imaging.

The role requires 1–2 years radiology experience; ARRT(R) or CRT credentials preferred; BLS required; willingness to complete ARRT CT certification within 12 months.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years radiology experience
• Hospital setting preferred
• Must pass ARRT CT certification within 12 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality CT procedures following established protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer questions
