Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join the CT Department at the Saint Augustine facility. This PRN, varied shifts role includes call and holiday rotation and requires ARRT (R), CRT, and BLS certification. You will operate GE CT equipment, prepare patients, and ensure safety and quality imaging.

The CT Technologist will collaborate with radiologists, educate patients, and maintain records while adhering to radiation safety standards. Experience in hospital settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Vocational School or Associate's Degree.
• Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.
• Certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT) within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT procedures following established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging.
• Monitor vital signs and patient comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Collaborate with radiologists to obtain optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Educate patients about the CT process and answer questions.
