Job summary

St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center is seeking a PRN CT Technologist to join the team and perform CT scans and radiographic procedures in a high-volume acute-care setting. The role requires strict adherence to ARRT/ACR/TMB standards, patient safety, and accurate documentation of findings for radiologist interpretation.

The ideal candidate will have AMA-approved Radiologic Technology education, MRT certification with TMB, BLS, and ARRT CT certification within 90 days of assignment. St.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of Radiologic Technology approved by the AMA.
• Current MRT certification with Texas Medical Board (TMB).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per St. David’s policy.
• ARRT certification in Radiology (R) required.
• ARRT CT certification (CT) within 90 days of CT assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and x-rays per ARRT/ACR/TMB standards.
• Verify written orders match requisitions prior to exams.
• Administer contrast material using proper technique.
• Enter appropriate charges and review for accuracy.
• Correlate patient history with procedure for radiologist review.
• Manage patient flow to prioritize exams and maintain efficiency.
