Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a CT Technologist PRN to operate CT scanning equipment, produce diagnostic images, and prepare the procedure room. You will verify image quality and document patient history forms.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in Radiology preferred, with additional training in CT modality preferred.
• Graduate of an AMA-accredited program with a certificate or degree in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification is required and CT certification is preferred.
• BLS required upon hire (AHA or Red Cross) within 30 days of hire date.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or Bachelor’s Degree, or Certificate, or Associate Degree.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic CT equipment and verify images; prepare the room with necessary supplies.
• Ensure high-quality CT scans with complete diagnostic information.
• Perform CT exams on various body parts in a timely manner.
• Complete history forms and technologist exam sheets.
• Start IVs and check labs as needed.
