Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta in Augusta, GA is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT imaging equipment, producing high-quality cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes and preparing patients and rooms for procedures.

The role requires two years in Radiology, AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology training, ARRT certification with CT preferred, and BLS within 30 days of hire; a strong team orientation and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in Radiology preferred, with additional training in CT modality preferred.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiologic Technology.
• (ARRT) certification is required and CT certification is preferred.
• BLS required upon hire (AHA or Red Cross) within 30-days of hire date.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or Bachelor’s Degree, or Certificate, or Associate Degree.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic CT imaging equipment, verify images and prepare the room with required supplies.
• Ensure high-quality CT scans provide proper diagnostic information.
• Perform CT exams on a variety of body parts in a timely manner.
• Complete history forms and technologist exam sheet.
• Start IVs and check labs as needed.
