St. David’s North Austin Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist PRN for Pflugerville FSED. You will perform CT scans and radiologic procedures, ensuring safety, accuracy, and high-quality image capture to assist diagnosis.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, throughput efficiency, and adherence to ARRT standards. The position requires an associate degree or higher in radiologic technology, ARRT certification with CT credential, and a willingness to participate in rotating on-call

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology required.
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program or AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent military program.
• 1–2 years CT experience preferred.
• CMRT/TMB certification and ARRT (R) with ARRT (CT) within 6 months of hire.
• BLS/CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and radiographs according to ARRT standards.
• Monitor patient throughput and equipment utilization.
• Ensure staff training and competency through in-servicing.
• Apply radiation safety principles to minimize risk.
• Participate in rotating call schedule.
• Provide patient-focused care aligned with service excellence.
