Job summary

HCA Healthcare’s St. Davids Emergency Center StarRanch seeks a CT Technologist PRN to perform CT scans and radiography following ARRT and Texas Board guidelines. You will ensure patient safety, document history, and support radiologists by delivering accurate imaging with efficient workflow.

The role emphasizes high‑quality care, adherence to protocols, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a Radiology Technologist – preferred.
• One year experience as a CT Technologist – preferred.
• Graduate from a school of Radiologic Technology approved by the AMA.
• Current MRT certification with Texas Medical Board (TMB).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per St. David’s policy.
• Certified in Radiology by the ARRT.
• Certified in CT by the ARRT (CT) within 90 days of CT assignment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, disease processes and patient care.
• Verify orders match requisitions prior to exams.
• Follow appropriate protocol for the ordered exam.
• Administer contrast material using proper technique.
• Enter charges and review for accuracy.
• Correlate clinical history with procedure for radiologist.
• Manage patient flow to prioritize and efficiently perform exams.
