Job summary

Wellstar Radiology is seeking a CT Technologist to join our Georgia imaging team. The role requires patient positioning expertise, accurate acquisition of CT images, and adherence to safety and privacy standards.

The candidate should have ARRT radiography and CT credentials, with 1 year CT experience preferred, and will work in a busy, patient-centered department. Responsibilities include verifying orders, preparing patients, operating CT equipment, and maintaining equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology required.
• ARRT Radiography and CT certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year CT/Radiology experience preferred; CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders and gather patient history.
• Position patient and set up CT exam according to protocols.
• Operate CT equipment and optimize imaging parameters for diagnostic quality.
• Restock supplies and maintain department equipment; assist peers as needed.
• Maintain patient privacy and comfort; ensure proper patient identification for each study.
