Job summary

Methodist Hospital Stone Oak, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology team on a PRN basis. You will demonstrate competency in CT procedures, positioning, and infection control while ensuring accurate scheduling, imaging, and charges in Meditech.

You will work with neonate to geriatric patients, follow safety policies, maintain CT room cleanliness, and collaborate with staff to deliver patient‑centered care.

Qualifications

• Competency in CT imaging, patient positioning and protocol setup.
• Current ARRT Radiography certification or eligibility is preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support to be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in CT imaging, positioning, procedure preparation and technical factors.
• Responsible for proper use of Radiology Imaging System, Meditech for scheduling, tracking and charges.
• Provide care to neonate, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.
• Follow safety policies, recognize crises and adjust priorities as needed and report to supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory of CT rooms; disinfect and restock supplies after each shift.
• Work independently and as part of a team; take direction from supervisor or lead.
• May access radiopharmaceuticals and contrast agents as appropriate to procedures.
• May witness waste and inventory of controlled substances with another authorized individual.
• Integrate current scientific knowledge; participate in orientation and training of new staff.
• Cross-train in other department functions to support staffing needs.
• Participate in dosewatch monitoring and implement safety improvements within Radiology.
