Methodist Hospital Texsan is seeking a CT Technologist to performCT procedures, manage scheduling and image tracking in Meditech, and maintain CT room readiness. The role requires competency in pediatric to geriatric care, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with staff.

PRN status implies flexible shifts and on-call coverage as needed. Ideal candidates hold an Associate Degree and ARRT credentials, with BCLS obtained within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide care to a wide age range of patients (neonate to geriatric).
• Must demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.
• Certifications: RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, ARRT-CT CT, ARRT-R Radiography.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in all CT procedures, positioning, preparation, and technical factors.
• Manages Radiology Imaging System tasks in Meditech (scheduling exams, tracking, charging).
• Maintains CT room cleanliness and inventory; follows disinfection protocols.
• Collaborates with supervisors and staff to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
