Job summary

HCA Healthcare’s Methodist ER New Braunfels seeks a CT Technologist to join its fast-paced radiology team. The role covers CT imaging, patient positioning, procedure prep, and related equipment, with focus on accuracy and safety.

You’ll operate the Meditech imaging system, schedule and track exams, and ensure proper documentation of charges while delivering compassionate care across neonatal to geriatric patients in a busy ER setting.

Qualifications

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
(RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
(ARRT-R) Radiography
(ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography
Associate Degree

Responsibilities

Demonstrates CT competency in positioning, prep, and technical factors for CT systems and related devices.
Responsible for the Radiology Imaging System Meditech usage for scheduling exams, patient tracking, image tracking, and correct exam charges.
Provides care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients as part of the CT service.
Follows safety policies, recognizes crises, and reports unsafe conditions to supervisor.
Maintains cleanliness and inventory of CT rooms, restocks supplies, and ensures equipment is disinfected and ready for use.
Able to work independently and in a team, taking instructions and communicating professionally with staff, patients, vendors, and the public.
