Job summary

Methodist Hospital Texsan in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a CT Tech PRN to join our radiology team. You will perform CT examinations with attention to patient safety and image quality, work with CT systems, and coordinate with the Meditech workflow.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer certification.
• ARRT-CT certification must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date.
• ARRT-R certification in Radiography.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in all CT areas including positioning, preparation and factors for CT imaging.
• Uses Meditech Radiology Imaging System for scheduling, tracking exams and charges.
• Care for neonate through geriatric patients following safety policies.
• Maintain CT room cleanliness, disinfect equipment and restock supplies.
• Work independently or with a team, communicate professionally with staff and patients.
