Job summary

Akumin is a leading provider of outpatient radiology and oncology services, partnering with hospitals and health systems nationwide to deliver advanced diagnostic imaging close to home. We are hiring a CT Technologist for our South Florida facilities, a PRN position.

The CT Technologist will ensure patient safety during imaging, produce high-quality CT studies, and communicate with radiologists and customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
• ARRT registration is required; NMTCB in CT acceptable if allowed by state.
• State license in Medical Imaging where applicable.
• CPR certification is required.
• Must hold active State Driver’s license for mid-day moves.
• COVID-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and perform high quality CT studies.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and customers.
• Train new technologists and Patient Coordinators as needed.
• Troubleshoot scanner and peripheral equipment (monitors, PACS, etc.).
