Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA, seeks a CT Technologist to provide high-quality CT imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, maintain safety and infection control, and document studies accurately in RIS/PACS.

The role requires ARRT certification in radiography, ARRT-CT, BLS, and at least 1 year of radiology experience, with a focus on patient comfort and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology
• AR will provide imaging procedures per department guidelines.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care clearly using industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and adjust techniques to ALARA.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment.
• Obtain clinical history and screen for contraindications; verify orders and patient IDs.
• Explain procedures and address questions to reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout visits.
• Document exams accurately and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Support department flow and maintain stocked work areas.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
