Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and patient-centered care. You will perform CT procedures, ensure safety, and maintain equipment per infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology preferred.
• ARRT-R (Radiography); ARRT-CT; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA by adjusting techniques.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders and patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol; use venipuncture and sterile technique as applicable.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and repeat/correct as needed.
• Complete accurate documentation and finalize studies in RIS/PACS; manage transfers/retrieval as needed.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and restock crash cart and life-support equipment.
• Organize daily workflows to support department operations and timeframes.
