Job summary

Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations while adhering to ALARA principles and regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes accuracy, patient safety, and collaboration with the radiology team to support timely diagnoses.

The position is part-time at Troy Hospital, with varying shifts, and requires ARRT CT certification, JRCERT-accredited radiography training, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from a JRCERT-accredited program.
• ARRT Registration required upon hire.
• ARDMS registration required for CT imaging within 1 year. 1 year experience preferred.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT exams with attention to patient safety and ALARA principles.
• Follow regulations and institutional policies for quality and safety in imaging.
• Collaborate with radiology team to deliver accurate imaging results for diagnosis.

In response to the health care needs of a growing community, in 1977, Corewell opened a new 189-bed hospital on rural farmland in Troy. Today, Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital has grown to 530 licensed beds and offers a comprehensive array of health care services, continuing to develop to meet the needs of the growing communities it serves.

Scope of work

As a CT Technologist with Corewell Health, you can turn detailed images into life-changing diagnoses. You'll be responsible for performing accurate diagnostic CT exams while following regulations and ALARA principles of radiation protection. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Required Associate's Degree Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
• 1 year of relevant experience 1-3 years' experience beyond staff radiographer level. Preferred
• CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
• CRT-Computerized Tomography (CT) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Excludes team members hired prior to 2008. 1 Year required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
