Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking an enthusiastic CT Technologist to perform X-ray and CT procedures at St. Marks Free Standing Emergency Department in West Valley City.

You will work independently, providing imaging services for outpatients and ER patients, using equipment such as the GE Revolution EVO CT and GE Optima XR646/XR220 X-ray systems. There are opportunities to learn and grow in your career.

Responsibilities include:

• Administering oral and IV contrast, monitoring for allergic reactions, and preparing IVs for exams.
• Loading and operating MedRad power injectors.
• Operating CT and X-ray equipment, practicing ALARA standards, understanding physician protocols, and scanning appropriately.
• Maintaining a clean environment and stocking supplies.
• Assisting patients onto and off the scanner table.

Qualifications:

• State Registered Radiologic Technician.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Registered Computed Tomography Technologist, Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or equivalent.
