Job Summary and Qualifications

Position: CT Technologist

Responsibilities include:

• Selecting proper technical factors, performing, and completing diagnostic CT exams accurately and respectfully
• Operating CT scanner, pressure injector, resuscitation equipment, laser filmer, and teleradiology system proficiently
• Assisting with contrast media administration and related procedures
• Preparing, transferring, and positioning patients, ensuring modesty and safety
• Documenting clinical information, obtaining consent, and completing MEDITECH accurately and timely
• Obtaining high-quality CT images for interpretation
• Staying proficient with software protocols and updates
• Communicating effectively with patients and colleagues, including radiologists
• Checking equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and stocking supplies
• Accepting on-call responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
• State Registered Radiologic Technician
• Associate Degree
