Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth is seeking a PRN CT Technologist to support diagnostic imaging services in our Fort Worth campus. You will operate CT and x-ray equipment, prepare exam rooms, and ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT CT certification, current MRT license, and BLS, with a high school diploma and AMA‑approved radiologic technology education.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of AMA‑approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Current & Active ARRT R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT) Certificate.
  • Current & Active MRT General License.
  • Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT and X‑ray equipment, prepares exam room, equipment, supplies and medications.
  • Provides excellent patient care in their assigned area.
  • Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed.
  • Performs all QC checks, as prescribed.
  • Maintains accurate QC logs, service records, etc.
  • Performs highest quality imaging consistent with prescribed examination.

CT Technologist at Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth:

Performs quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner for Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth and Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth Outpatient Center. Operates CT and x‑ray equipment, prepares exam room, equipment, supplies and medications. Provides excellent patient care. Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed.

  • The Radiologic technologist operates CT and X‑ray equipment, prepares exam room, equipment, supplies and medications.
  • Provides excellent patient care in their assigned area.
  • Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams preformed.
  • Performs all Quality control checks, as prescribed.
  • Maintains accurate QC logs, service records, etc.
  • Performs highest quality imaging consistent with prescribed examination: documents and deviation
  • Practices medical and surgical aseptic procedures
  • Investigates promptly and follows up on unusual incidents and communicates with Radiology Leadership
  • Takes emergency call as assigned
Qualifications
Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of AMA‑approved school of Radiologic Technology
Licensure/Certification
  • Current & Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT) Certificate
  • Current & Active Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) General License
  • Current BLS certification
