Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Vic Village in Columbus, OH, is seeking a CT Technologist/Radiology Tech for a per diem role. The position requires ARRT or CMRT certification, a current state license, and at least two years of radiologic experience with one year in CT.

Responsibilities include operating the CT scanner, administering contrast as directed, ensuring patient comfort, and performing QA on imaging equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist with current state license.
• At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist (not including school).
• ARRT or CMRT certification.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the patient for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and creating a comfortable environment.
• Operate a CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images of the intended anatomy.
• Administer contrast media as directed by referring physician.
• Monitor the patient for adverse drug events and report accordingly.
• Perform routine quality assurance on equipment and identify basic malfunctions.
• Perform clerical duties, as needed, such as answering phones.

Schedule: Per Diem / As Needed / PRN

Compensation: $42.00 per Hour

Qualifications: ARRT or CMRT certification with current state license and 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic and at least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating facility-specific equipment desirable.
