Job summary

A critical illness recovery hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking a CT Technologist. The ideal candidate must have ARRT or CMRT certification, 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist, and at least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist. This per diem position includes responsibilities such as preparing patients, operating CT scanners, and ensuring quality diagnostic studies. Qualifications

At least 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist with current state license.
At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist (not including school).

Current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.

Responsibilities

Prepare the patient for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process.
Produce quality diagnostic studies using proper positioning.
Correctly operate a CT scanner for cross‑sectional images.
Administer contrast media as directed by the physician.
Monitor patients for adverse drug events and report accordingly.
Perform routine quality assurance on equipment.

Position: CT Technologist/Radiology Tech

Location: Select Specialty Hospital Vic Village - Columbus, OH (Dennison Ave)

Schedule: Per Diem / As Needed / PRN

Compensation: $42.00 per Hour

Qualifications: ARRT or CMRT certification with current state license and 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic and at least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist.

Responsibilities

Prepare the patient for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and creating a comfortable environment.
Use of proper patient positioning and technical factors to consistently produce quality diagnostic studies.
Correctly operate a CT scanner to produce cross‑sectional images of desired patient anatomy.
Administer contrast media as directed by referring physician.
Monitor the patient for any adverse drug events and report accordingly.
Perform routine quality assurance on equipment and identify basic malfunctions.
Perform clerical duties, as needed, such as answering phones.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

At least 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and hold current state license (as required).
At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist (not including school).
Must have ARRT or CMRT certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.
