Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT exams in a 24/7 clinical setting. You will operate scanners, administer IV contrast, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate diagnostics.

This full-time role in Rome, GA requires ALARA compliance, strong English communication, and CT training. Day shift, competitive benefits, and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English.
• CT procedures and scanner knowledge required.
• Experience with PACS and imaging workflows preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Proficiency with basic computer skills and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations as ordered, following protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, adjusting parameters for patients of all ages.
• Position patients accurately and maintain radiation safety.
• Review patient history to confirm exam appropriateness.
• Administer IV contrast and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with radiologists and staff for patient care.
