Job summary

Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in Computed Tomography to perform high-quality CT procedures and ensure patient safety. You will position patients, administer contrast within scope, and monitor radiographic quality while upholding radiation safety standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the Radiology team to review imaging protocols and contribute to diagnostic accuracy. Prior CT certification and Florida RT credentials are required.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire.
• Radiologic Technologist credentialed from Florida RT.
• NMTCB(CT) CT certification or ARRT(CT) specialty required in addition to CNMT CNMT.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography or Nuclear Medicine/Radiation Therapy allowed.
• ARRT CT credentialed prior to hire date.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT procedures with accurate parameters to ensure diagnostic imaging.
• Lead patient preparation: positioning and administering contrast within scope of practice.
• Monitor for abnormal activity and maintain radiation safety to protect patients and staff.
• Evaluate imaging protocols and suggest updates to improve diagnostic accuracy.

Education

Florida Radiologic Technology credential

NMTCB CT certification or ARRT CT specialty

ARRT Radiologic Technologist cert. in CT

High School diploma equivalency or higher
