Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to position patients and immobilize them on the procedure table, following Radiologist instructions to obtain precise images. You will administer contrast orally and intravenously and enter data such as scan type and slice thickness into the computer.

You will view images for quality, evaluate radiographs, and ensure safety by applying radiation precautions and regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• ARRT certification or eligibility required.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Position and immobilize patient on procedure table per radiologist protocols.
• Administer oral and intravenous contrast as required.
• Enter scan data such as type, slice thickness, and timing into the computer.
• View images to confirm quality and accuracy.
• Evaluate radiographs and computer data for quality.
• Demonstrate new techniques and equipment to staff.
• Implement and monitor radiation safety in compliance with regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
