Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology is required.
• Licensure/certifications in radiologic technology and related areas are required.
• 1-3 years related work experience is required.
• New hires must provide BLS certification within 30 days.
• Experience with computer systems and web-based applications is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for CT scans ensuring optimal demonstration of body parts.
• Enter instructions into the scan terminal and monitor performance for data accuracy.
• Adjust equipment as needed to maintain quality results.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients to minimize anxiety.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure exams are properly networked to PACS or Vitrea workstations.
