Job summary

FlexStaff seeks a Radiologic Technologist to operate CT and other imaging equipment, prepare patients, and maintain documentation. You will translate procedures into lay terms for patients and ensure informed consent where required.

You will perform x-ray exams per standards, position patients, adjust equipment for correct exposure, and monitor patient safety according to policy. You will document exam details and maintain imaging records and labels.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Licensed in NY or CT as Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT registration.
• Minimum of 1 year radiologic exam experience.
• Ability to translate examinations into lay terms for patients and obtain consent when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for exam and explain procedures in lay terms.
• Perform radiographic exams and position patients.
• Adjust x-ray equipment and monitor exposure and safety.
• Enter exam details and maintain imaging records and logs.
