Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• New York State and/or Connecticut Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist is required.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams and explain procedures to relieve anxiety.
• Perform radiologic exams according to standards and position patients accordingly.
• Operate x-ray equipment and adjust exposure while monitoring safety.
• Process and label images and maintain required records and logs.
• Report patient conditions and abnormalities to Radiologist as needed.
