Job summary

FlexStaff is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging exams, prepare patients, and ensure high-quality images in a busy New York medical setting. The role requires graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology program, NY/CT licensure, ARRT registration, and at least one year of experience performing radiologic exams.

You will accurately position patients, operate X-ray equipment, document exams, and maintain records and image archives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• New York State and/or Connecticut Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT registration.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience performing radiologic exams.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for exam and relays information in lay terms; obtains consent if necessary.
• Performs radiographic exams according to established standards and SOPs; positions patient and adjusts immobilization devices.
• Operates x-ray equipment and monitors patient condition; ensures correct exposure and image labeling; archives images.
• Maintains required documentation and daily logs; completes tracking steps for each examination.
• Performs related duties as required.
