Job summary

Career Crunch seeks a CT Technician to review histories and orders, educate patients, manage contrast and medications, and ensure safe, accurate imaging. You will position patients, operate imaging equipment, and monitor status throughout procedures.

Responsibilities include image quality analysis, reporting results, and adhering to safety standards; on-call shifts with 30-minute response apply. Strong collaboration with radiology staff is required.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in radiologic sciences.
• ARRT Radiography required; ARRT CT or CT eligible.
• NM license in Radiography required; NM license in CT or CT Provisional required.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician's orders.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient condition continually and respond to changes as appropriate.
• Prepare equipment and supplies; perform safety checks and basic QC on equipment; report malfunctions.
• Position patient and perform imaging procedures.
• Analyze results and identify image quality issues; adjust as needed.
• Enter, transmit and report scan results.
• On-Call: accept on-call assignments and report within 30 minutes of notification.
