Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare in the United States is seeking a CT Technologist to prepare patients and perform routine CT scans. You will produce high quality images and present results to Radiologists for timely interpretation, while supporting safety and quality initiatives.

The role requires ARRT/NMTCB CT certification, at least six months of CT experience, and CPR. Work hours include Monday-Thursday 9:30am-8:00pm with holiday requirements, and compensation ranges from $39.44 to $59.15 per hour.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology and/or NMTCB (CNMT) registered and documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams required.
• Advanced level certification by the ARRT or NMTCB in computed tomography required within one year of hire date.
• Six months’ relevant experience required (minimum of three in CT Scan OR successful and documented completion of MWHC/MIF cross-training program).
• American Heart Association CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for CT examinations by confirming physicians’ orders and verifying identities.
• Performs CT examinations on all patient age groups and maintains competency.
• Adheres to departmental policies and safety standards to ensure quality care.
• Maintains a safe environment and supports radiation safety practices.
• Reports, records and files patient data to document operations and billing.
• Participates in performance improvement activities for the CT section.
