Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a CT Technologist to prepare patients and perform CT scans per physicians’ orders. You will produce high-quality images and present them with relevant studies for radiologist interpretation.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology and/or NMTCB (CNMT) registered and documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams required.
• Advanced level certification by the ARRT or NMTCB in computed tomography required within one year of hire date.
• Six months’ relevant experience required (minimum of three in CT Scan OR successful and documented completion of MWHC/MIF cross-training program).
• American Heart Association CPR required.
• EOE and pay equity laws compliance mentioned in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for CT examinations by confirming physicians’ orders, verifying identities, and obtaining adequate medical histories.
• Performs CT examinations on all patient ages and maintains competency.
• Adheres to policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintains safety and radiation protection for patients and staff.
• Supervises and teaches students; supports CT cross-training programs.
• Manages supplies and records for billing and operations.
