Job summary

VITAL IMAGING DIAGNOSTIC CENTERS LLC is seeking a CT Technician to perform CT examinations in accordance with established procedures. The role requires operating CT equipment, positioning patients, and ensuring radiation safety.

Candidates should have ARRT CT certification, state licensure, and a graduate radiography program, plus BLS. Two+ years of imaging experience and strong patient-service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner to image designated body areas per protocol.
• Position patients with immobilization devices.
• Adjust exposure factors and move equipment into position.
• Explain procedures and address patient concerns.
• Assist physicians with invasive procedures and handle films.
• Follow radiation protection practices and PPE.
• Ensure safe administration and storage of contrast material.
• Adhere to Standard Precautions and safety protocols.
