Job summary

Associates in Medical Imaging, LLC is seeking a CT Technologist to provide safe, high-quality diagnostic CT exams in an outpatient center or mobile imaging setting. You will prepare patients, operate CT equipment, acquire and reconstruct images, and ensure accurate documentation for radiologist interpretation.

The role requires graduation from an accredited radiography program, current CT and ARRT certifications, and state licensure if required.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
Current CT Certification and ARRT Certification.
Current state license or permit, if required for the practice location.
At least 1 year of CT experience or 500 clinical hours.

Responsibilities

Review orders, verify patient identity, educate patients on procedures.
Position patients, select appropriate protocols, operate CT equipment.
Acquire, reconstruct, and process diagnostic-quality images while minimizing exposure.
Screen for contrast risks; administer contrast when authorized and monitor patients.
Document examinations and patient history in imaging and information systems.
Perform quality-control checks and ensure room and equipment readiness.
Adhere to infection-control, radiation-safety, privacy, and ethics standards.
Collaborate with the care team to support efficient patient flow.
