TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center in Lebanon, TN is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT exams with a patient‑centered approach, following protocols and ALARA principles to minimize dose. You will prepare patients, start IVs for contrast, retrieve orders and history, and communicate findings to the radiologist.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• ARRT-CT certification in Computed Tomography
• ARRT-R certification in Radiography
• Associate Degree required
• One year of post-graduate experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams following protocols in a timely manner with high quality care
• Take patient history and retrieve orders or prior images
• Provide patient history, signs, and symptoms to radiologist
• Complete documentation accurately
• Coordinate patient flow and check daily lists for complete exams
• Support ALARA principles to minimize radiation dose
• Inform patients about procedures and answer questions
• Interact professionally with physicians, patients, and family members
• Start IVs for contrast administration
• Use the power injector
• Prepare procedure trays with supplies
• Support and participate in quality (QI) and performance improvement (PI) plans
• Demonstrate knowledge of patient age groups and appropriate care
• Perform other duties as assigned
