Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under Radiologist supervision, ensuring image quality and patient safety across all ages.

Ideal candidates are ARRT certified, registered with the ARRT or equivalent credential, and BLS certified; 6 months of radiology technologist experience is preferred. This role operates in a busy hospital radiology department with standard clinical procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).
• BLS certified.
• Preferred: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.

Responsibilities

• CT Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients.
• CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
• CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
