Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the general supervision of the CT Scan Supervisor, the CT Technologist provides CT skills and initiatives to the department mission through interactions with staff and others as necessary. The primary duties involve working as a Technologist on either the East Newton or Harrison Avenue campus, while also implementing policies and procedures as determined by the CT Scan Supervisor and Radiology Administrative Director.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Work requires knowledge of principles and procedures of diagnostic radiology and CT, and the operation and maintenance of radiologic equipment, generally acquired through two years of post-high school training in an approved radiologic technology school. Additional in-house and on-the-job training are also required.

MRST, AART certification required.

CT license preferred.

Work requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, instruct students, and provide technical supervision to staff technologists.

State license required, along with all applicable radiology education requirements.
