Job summary

Grand River Health in Rifle, Colorado is seeking a full-time Computed Tomography Technologist to provide safe, accurate imaging and compassionate patient care. You will work directly with patients and the care team to deliver high-quality CT imaging in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The ideal candidate is an ARRT-certified CT technologist with radiography credentials, an AS or BS in radiologic sciences, and a willingness to obtain BLS within three months.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT Radiography registration and ARRT CT certification.
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology and/or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Sciences preferred.
• One year of professional radiology experience in hospital or patient care setting preferred.
• Must obtain BLS certification within three months of hire and maintain it.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and medical imaging equipment; respond calmly in emergencies.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Obtain patient histories, explain procedures, address concerns, and provide appropriate patient education.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures and respond to patient needs.
• Participate in Performance Improvement, Continuous Quality Improvement, Patient Satisfaction, Radiation Safety, and related initiatives.
• Support radiologic education and participate in committees and other duties as assigned.
• Perform a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
