Job summary

UCHealth Cherry Creek Medical Center in Denver, CO is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT imaging on a PRN basis. The role supports a days shift and requires competence in patient preparation and contrast administration while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, ARRT registered or registry-eligible with CT within 12 months, and hold state licensure if required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered RT with ARRT or registry-eligible with registration within 12 months in CT.
• State licensure if required by law.
• BLS/CPR certification required; card in-hand before start date.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and orders and assists with scheduling; educates patient on procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope.
• Monitors patient condition and responds to status changes.
• Prepares equipment and supplies and selects exposure factors.
• Implements safety standards and performs quality control on equipment.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions and positions patient for imaging.
• Analyzes results, resolves image quality issues, and repeats procedures if needed.
• Enters, transmits and reports scan results; may perform 3-D post processing.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
