Job summary

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center in a mountain town invites a skilled CT Technologist to join our imaging team in a PRN capacity. You will work with state-of-the-art CT equipment and collaborate with a dedicated radiology team in a patient‑centered environment.

You will perform CT, radiographic, and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring radiation safety, accurate documentation, and compassionate patient care in a supportive community setting.

Qualifications

  • Must graduate from an ARRT‑approved program.
  • One year related experience or training, or equivalent education.
  • High accuracy in positioning, exposure technique, and radiation safety.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Independently perform CT, radiographic, and fluoroscopic procedures.
  • Prepare, administer, and document medications and radiation exposure per laws and policies.
  • Maintain patient-centered care and ensure safety and accuracy.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must demonstrate high level of detail orientation.
  • Must be current on state-of-the-art office technology, including entire Microsoft Office Suite, and other office technologies.
  • Solid ability to handle highly confidential, sensitive information. Position requires a high level of professionalism, tact, discretion, and integrity.
  • Must have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities; demonstrate resourcefulness and good problem-solving skills.
Education And/Or Experience
  • Must have graduated from an approved ARRT program; and one year related experience and/or training;
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A high degree of accuracy in positioning, exposure technique, and radiation safety is essential.
  • The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Summary

The Radiologic / CT Technologist independently performs a full scope of computed tomography (CT), radiographic, and fluoroscopic procedures. This role is responsible for acquiring and analyzing diagnostic data at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. The technologist prepares, administers, and documents medications and radiation exposure in compliance with all federal and state laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
