Job summary

Capitol Imaging Services, LLC is seeking a qualified CT technologist to perform CT procedures, prep patients, and verify physician orders. You will ensure patient identification accuracy and obtain essential medical history to aid the radiologist.

Responsibilities include completing necessary paperwork, verifying images in PACS, and releasing results promptly while upholding safety standards and collaborating with radiologists and other departments.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.
• Current ARRT/CT certification.
• Texas State licensure or eligibility.
• Knowledge of safety requirements and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures, preparing patients and obtaining consent.
• Verifies patient identification and confirms physician orders prior to the exam.
• Gathers medical history to aid radiologist in selecting appropriate procedures.
• Completes paperwork and verifies images in PACS for prompt release.
• Maintains safety standards and communicates with radiologists and staff.
• Performs IV starts as required.
