Job summary

Jefferson Health in Stratford, NJ is seeking a CT Technologist to join our radiology team and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images for patients. You will explain procedures, collect histories, and ensure accurate data entry in the Radiology Information System.

Under a Radiologist's supervision, the role requires 1–3 months of experience or training and ARRT certification, with shifts from 7a–7:30p or 7p–7:30a and weekend rotation, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory formal training in an approved program.
• ARRT certification required.

CT Technologists are responsible for the following:

• Explains radiographic procedure to the patient and collects accurate patient history.
• Performs clinical diagnostic examinations including any necessary room preparation.
• Properly enters patient and exam data into the Radiology Information System.

Under the direction of the Radiologist, the CT Technologist operates CT equipment in order to produce CT images of the body for diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Schedule Information and Requirements

Shifts are 7a-7:30p or 7p-7:30a.

Staff is required to rotate weekends every third week.

Other shifts are self-scheduled, with 2 Fridays required in a 6-week period.

On-call is self-scheduled, covering all locations for 3-4 shifts in 6 weeks.

Staff must work 2 holidays per year, with on-call holidays assigned by leadership.

Training at all locations and on all scanners is required.

Salary Range

$38.40 to $54.71 Hourly The actual hiring rate will be determined based on candidate experience, skills and qualifications. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive.
