Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
• ARRT CT certification required within six months of hire.
• IEMA Accreditation required within six months of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient safety throughout imaging, including screening and post-procedure care.
• Produces diagnostic-quality images using approved protocols.
• Apply professional judgment to optimize image quality and address imaging challenges.
• Reviews images for diagnostic adequacy and initiates corrective action if needed.
• Operates imaging equipment and maintains room readiness.
• Coordinates exam flow and prioritizes time-sensitive studies.
• Maintains documentation in medical records and image archive systems.
• Adheres to safety standards, ALARA principles, and patient care policies.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program

ARRT CT certification within six months of hire

IEMA Accreditation within six months of hire
