Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks a skilled CT Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional CT imaging in a patient-centered setting. You will independently operate or assist licensed practitioners, ensuring accuracy and safety in ionizing radiation procedures.

The role emphasizes adherence to ALARA principles, quality control, and cooperation with the healthcare team to support diagnostic and treatment pathways.

Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB certification with ARRT-CT required at hire.
• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency in routine and complex CT duties with safety and quality mindset.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient identification, prepare patients, and document clinical history with confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize factors, and apply ALARA to minimize radiation exposure.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate image quality, verify positioning, and manage data storage and transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare team members.
• Assist with interventional procedures and perform prescribed CT scans.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and support departmental priorities.

Role Overview: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and research imaging procedures involving ionizing radiation. They independently operate or assist licensed practitioners in acquiring and analyzing imaging data for diagnosis, intervention, and treatment, ensuring patient safety and adherence to regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain correct patient identification, prepare patients, and document clinical history with confidentiality.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
