Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and accurate data capture in a clinical setting.

You will independently operate with licensed practitioners in CT and molecular imaging, prepare and administer medications, document radiation exposure, and maintain image quality and data storage.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification before their first day.
• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety principles, patient care, and image evaluation.
• Ability to educate and monitor students and healthcare team members.
• Attention to detail, technical proficiency, and adherence to safety and legal standards.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and prepare patients for exams.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols and optimize technical factors.

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and research imaging procedures involving ionizing radiation, ensuring patient safety and data accuracy.

They independently operate or assist licensed practitioners in conducting CT and molecular imaging, preparing and administering medications, and documenting radiation exposure activities in compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities include verifying patient identity, preparing patients for exams, utilizing appropriate imaging protocols, optimizing technical factors, and ensuring image quality and proper data storage.

They may assist with interventional procedures and educate students and healthcare providers.

Work is conducted primarily in a clinical setting, with accountability for adhering to organizational policies and safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification before their first day. Applicants hired after a specified date must complete advanced certification steps within 24 months.
• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
