Job summary

Duke University Health System seeks an experienced CT Technologist to join a high-volume imaging program in Durham. You will operate CT scanners, position patients, and support radiologists across outpatient and inpatient services, including cardiac and interventional procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate or completion of program eligible for registry/certification.
• Must be ARRT registered and able to obtain CT certification within 18 months of employment.
• Minimum of two years' experience as a CT technologist (Level II) or four years' experience for higher levels.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment following safety procedures.
• Position patients for CT scans using positioning devices and protective gear.
• Perform exams accurately according to protocols and patient safety standards.
• Assist radiologists with imaging procedures and IV placement.
• Coordinate scheduling and patient flow; document charges in the EHR.
• Provide education and training to student technologists.
