Job summary

Belton Regional Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to perform routine and specialized CT imaging in accordance with established standards. You will provide high-quality CT images for physician diagnosis and treatment, while supporting a culture of teamwork and patient care.

The role requires CT technologist certification within 1 year, ARRT radiography credentials within 1 year, and BCLS within 30 days. On-call availability and CT experience are preferred for this PRN position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited program with a certificate or a degree in Radiology Technology.
• ARRT CT certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• ARRT Radiographer (ARRT) certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date; BCLS required within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Compassionately assist and position patients on the CT table.
• Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• Assess image quality and make necessary adjustments.
• Provide post-procedure instructions to patients.
• Prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
