Job summary

Belton Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a CT Technologist to join our team on a PRN basis. The role involves performing CT imaging, positioning patients, starting IVs for contrast, and ensuring high-quality images for physicians.

The position requires on-call availability, a radiology degree or AMA-accredited program, ARRT and CT registries within 12 months, and CPR/BCLS within 30 days. Prior CT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiology program or degree in Radiologic Technology
• ARRT registration must be obtained within 12 months of start date
• BCLS (CPR) within 30 days of start date
• Two years CT experience preferred with CT training
• On-call availability required (must report within 30 minutes)

Responsibilities

• Compassionately assist and position patients on CT table
• Start IVs for contrast administration when needed
• Assess image quality and make adjustments as required
• Provide post-procedure instructions to patients
• Prepare and sterilize the CT suite between patients
• Adhere to radiation safety procedures and guidelines
