Job summary

Northwestern Medicine in Chicago is hiring a Radiologic Technologist CT for the Downtown location. This full‑time night shift role includes three 12‑hour nights (6:30pm–7:00am) and an eligible $8K sign‑on bonus.

You will produce diagnostic CT images, prepare patients, administer contrast, and ensure safety per ALARA standards. Join a busy imaging team, verify orders, document exams in the medical record and PACS, and maintain equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
• ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient safety throughout the imaging process and during post‑procedure care.
• Produces diagnostic CT images using approved protocols and standards.
• Administers contrast per policy, including screening for contraindications.
• Operates CT equipment and keeps the imaging room ready for exams.
• Documents exam data and results in the medical record and PACS, ensuring accuracy.
• Verifies orders, confirms protocols, and ensures timely exam completion.
